RACALS swimmers recently competed in the Nottinghamshire ASA Minor League competition at Bramcote Leisure Centre.

RASCALS finished joint 1st with Bramcote with 188 points, which included twenty-one 1st places and eight personal best times (PBs).

The swimmers achieving individual 1st placings were; Hannah Jones (50m Back and 50m Fly in both 11 & 12 Year age groups), Molly Renshaw (50m Breast in both 12 & 13 Year age groups), Edward Borysiak (50m Fly), Tomas Eley (50m Breast), Jamie Ingram (50m Free), George Coutts (50m Fly) and Dom Bestwick (50m Back and 200m Free).

The remaining 1st placings came from the Relay Teams of:

• Girls 12 Years and under Free Relay (Molly Renshaw, Alice Goodrum, Hannah Jones and Jessica Guest)
• Girls 12 Years and under Medley Relay (Molly Renshaw, Alice Goodrum, Hannah Jones and Olivia Strachan)
• Girls 13 Years and under Medley Relay (Molly Renshaw, Louise Ratcliffe, Abigail Hall and Hannah Jones)
• Boys 9 & 10 Years Free Relay (Tom Oates, Connor Hodgett, James Steeples and Joseph Byrne)
• Boys 11 Years and under Free and Medley Relays (Frazer Crump, Edward Borysiak, Tomas Eley, Jamie Ingram)
• Boys 12 Years and under Free and Medley Relays (Josh Bostock, Josh Bee-Tong, George Coutts, Edward Borysiak)
• Boys 13 Years and under Free and Medley Relays (Sam Oates, Dom Bestwick, Xander Parr, Josh Bee-Tong)

There could be a RASCALS tradition developing judging by the positions of the Boys 11 years, 12 years and 13 years Relay Teams! Joe, Fearny, Hugh, Matt, Darren, Glen and Tim WATCH THIS SPACE!
