For anyone who doesn’t know, a young lady who started her swimming career at RASCALS, and is still a member, Molly Renshaw, has been competing in Budapest competing in the World Championships.

The British Swimming website – www.britishswimming.org/news/budapest-2017 – report last Thursday

The British team had double heats success in the Women’s 200m Breaststroke as both experienced senior international Molly Renshaw (National Centre Loughborough) and worlds rookie Jocelyn Ulyett; based at Loughborough University, secured spots into tonight’s semi-finals.

Afterwards Renshaw explained: “The heats swim felt pretty comfortable so I can step it up again tonight.

“This morning I was focusing on technical aspects so tonight it will be nice to think more about the race and get involved in it. I’m really enjoying my racing and just taking every opportunity I have.”
